in Southern Mexico
ADO Buses offer several levels of service to passengers
in South Central and Southern Mexico from
ADO's First
Class terminals
in Mexico City, Oaxaca City, and many
other bus transportation hub cities.
Mexico City Norte and Tapo Terminals serve to Oaxaca.
Oaxaca's Zipolite Beach can be reached by Bus to Pochutla and then taxi or collectivo camionetta
(shared taxi)

From Oaxaca City:
OCC buses from
the ADO first class terminal reach  Huatulco and then Pochutla. (10 hours)

Second Class bus service leaves Oaxaca City's Second Class terminal and goes over the mountains to
Puerto Escondido or to Pochutla.  (8 hours)
Reach Mazunte and Puerto
Angel's
beaches from Oaxaca
on ADO's OCC Bus by first going
to Huatulco and then north along
the coast road Route 200 to
Pochutla..
In Pochutla get a taxi or
camionetta which picks up and
drops off passengers all along
Calle Principal, the road that runs
parallel to the beach,

  • Mexico City.  
Tapo, Norte, and Taxquena (Central Sur)  terminals serve ADO
Platino, GL, and ADO buses from Oaxaca.    ADO serves from Mexico City  to
Veracruz, the Yucatan, and south to Chiapas.
  • South From Oaxaca City
OCC and ADO  buses run south to San Cristobal de Las Casas,  Palenque,
Tapachula Chiapas, Merida, and Cancun.
ADO buses from Oaxaca City serve a good portion of southern Mexico with bus
routes to the Guatemala and Belize borders.  
  • East and North
ADO Bus Routes cover east to Veracruz and north into Tamaulipas State at the
US Border on the Gulf Coast.
  • Pacific Coast
OCC Bus   Oaxaca to the Pacific Coast, Huatulco, Puerto Escondido, and
San Cristobal de las Casas.  From San Cristobal, OCC goes to Ocosingo  
(Tonina Ruins)  and to Palenque
  • Gulf Coast
Cuenca Bus  Oaxaca to Tuxtepec and over the northern mountains to
Veracruz State

they have a small station.

bus route can be either through San Cristobal de las Casas or through
Villahermosa on the Gulf Coast.

    more legroom, few or no stops between stations, and many other amenities.

  • ADO GL, Grand Lujo Service is an elevated level of first class bus service

    particularly the Pacific Coast and the Gulf Coast.

  • Cuenca, an economy first class bus that runs over the mountains north of
    Oaxaca City to the Gulf Coast.
