blade, you have 14 miles of flat paved trail beside the Cape Cod Canal. You can walk your bike
over the Bourne or Sagamore bridge and reach Scusset Beach State Reservation and its
campground.
You could drive over as well and park near the cold water beach. The fee for Shawme Crowell, $12
for residents of the State $15 for others, is applicable for parking at Scusset Beach. The boat action
in the canal can provide some entertainment and the canal can provide some good striper fishing
from the jetty and the banks. This is salt water fishing where no license is required. You will,
however, need to observe length limits and bag limits.
