Day Hikes From Creel
Divisadero offers a good day trip hike along the ridges above the Copper Canyon.  Bus, train, or bike ride from Creel 29 miles to the Divisadero train stop.
Creel offers rental bikes and Bus service to Divisadero.

Divisadero is a popular Copper Canyon Train stop.  The train waits for 15 minutes while passengers view the scenery at the junction of three canyons.

Divisadero offers many options for hikes along the rim of the canyons and hiking trails down into the canyons.  
Transportation and rental equipment are offered in Creel, 29 miles by paved road to the east.  

Tours are available in creel for Divisadero or you can bus or drive from Creel over paved roads to Divisadero.  On the 3 mile rt hike on the rim of the canyon to the new teleferico, (cable car) you encounter Tarahumara women and children selling handcraft baskets intricately woven of green pine needles and beige colored palm.

There are cave dwelling along trails below the rim, once occupied but now used as storage.

The adventure park offers the cable ride, zipline ride, rappelling over the cliff face, and a restaurant

Divisadero offers lodging at the Inn on the edge of the canyon.
The Teleferico was installed in 2010 as part of El Parque De Aventura Barrancas Del Cobre.   The cable car conveys passengers into the canyon to a stop where a Zipline is offered.

From an area near the Divisadero train stop a paved walkway with viewpoints goes along the rim of the canyons towards the Teleferico.  (cable Car)

Another day trip could be a hike down into the canyon with a tour out of Creel.
