Our first full
day was a
day at Half
Moon Cay,
which is
owned by
Holland
America.
We Cruised the
Panama Canal, the
Caribbean, and Aruba
for 10 days on the
Holland America Ship,
Zuiderdam,

In April my husband
George and I took a 10-day
cruise on the Panama
Canal, Caribbean with the
Holland America ship
Zuiderdam.
The ship was wonderful as
we have come to expect
from Holland America
Cruise Lines.
We flew out of Boston to Fort Lauderdale the day before the cruise. This way we didn't have the worry
of missing the ship because of any flight delays.
We stayed at the Embassy Suites since it’s close to the Cruise Terminal and has a full breakfast that
is included with your room rate.

Before our cruise to Aruba and the
Caribbean,we arranged to meet
some other passengers at the
Crows Nest on the Sail Away. They
became friends to speak with
during the cruise

The next day we arrived in
Aruba. This island is made
for tourists. The ship docks
right downtown and usually
stays late into the night.
Public transportation makes
it very easy to get around
this island.
We next arrived at
Curacao. I love this
Island. First timers
should take a tour of
the Island to see as
much of it as their can.
Downtown are great
shops and cafés to
have a drink and enjoy
the opening and
closing of "Big
Emma" the floating
bridge
Before the cruise George
found
Cruise Critic Boards on the
web with articles from people
who were taking this
cruise. We arranged to meet
them
at the Crows Nest on the Sail
Away.  
What a great time we
had. They became friends to
speak with  during the cruise.
