From the airport you are 20 minutes away from the center of downtown Boston
reached by boat or public bus, subway, or taxi.
Boston's Modern Logan Airport  (BOS), has undergone many building
stages and continually improves.  The airport has all that a traveler needs
including rental cars, shuttles to hotels, and  bus and boat service into the center
of the city of Boston, about 20 minutes away across Boston Harbor via tunnel or
shuttle boat. The airport has a
bus that connects to subway and Amtrak
train service  
which is available at two stations.
Surface transportation just outside each terminal's baggage claim connects to
many Boston and suburban locations.
The best options are to
rent a car at the airport, taxi into Boston's
downtown, get a shuttle bus to the water taxi, or arrange a hotel shuttle
to your Boston hotel   
The rental car shuttles will pick you up outside of the baggage area to deliver you
to the rental garage.
A nonstop bus called the Logan Express runs south to a suburban terminal in
Braintree and northwest to Framingham.  
The Plymouth Brockton bus, P&B  runs further south with stops on the South
Shore of Boston to Plymouth.
Buses and shuttle flights leave Bostons Logan Airport for Hyannis on Cape Cod.

Boston Climate, What To Wear in Boston:
Boston is warm from June to September  and can be hot and humid in July and August
Boston is a sophisticated city and could require formal dress in a few restaurants (Necktie suit jacket, dress)
but most Boston restaurants and clubs are casual.
Boston has a
temperate climate and is at sea level.
December to February can be cold with snow and Ice.  March and April can have warm days but often showers
and Spring rains.  May and June have warm days with cool nights. July to September: Ideal beach weather.
September and October: the changing of the leaves with warm dry days and cool nights.

If you make a whale watch cruise or an Island cruise, you can expect the temperature on the water to be 15
degrees f lower than that on land.
