born in 1475, would create work under the patronage of Lorenzo de Medici .

great masters that now reside in the museums. Architectural masterpieces
in Florence resulted from the success of Tuscan bankers and merchants
during the Renaissance. Illustrious Tuscan artist commissioned by the
wealthy were Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and the painter, Botticelli.
