The web site www.SoftSeatTravel.com is a travel information website
provided as a service to both travelers and to travel photographer/writers.
We pay for submissions based on the revenue generated by the article
derived from the advertising on the site.  The advertising and fees from
sponsors defray the cost of maintaining the site and return a portion of
the revenue to the writer/photographer.


For travelers, we supply information based on first hand knowledge of the
destination, information that can be a resource for travelers and photos
that can be an inspiration.
For the photographer/writer we provide a showcase for your work. For
professionals and those aspiring to break into travel writing, this can be a
means of giving the writer/photographer more web presence and a sales
tool/portfolio to use in communicating with editors. A byline and bio will
accompany each article and photo.

For the dedicated traveler, the website can be a fun place to see your
photos and text and may inspire you to take your love of travel and
photography further and submit to paid sites or to the print media.
We welcome your submission and will give every submission serious
consideration but we retain the right to reject or edit submissions.
You the writer/photographer will be given proof and approval of all
submission before they are published. You will retain all rights to your
work.
We make no claim to your work and will remove your work from the site at
your request.

We recommend that you do not submit articles that you would later
submit to other print or electronic publishers because once published you
can not offer an editor First North American Serial Rights.

restraint on sharpening and saturation   20-25 Photos max approximately
for three page spread

Text: Can be caption information only for a photo feature.   Otherwise
send 200 -800 words (800 max)  for a several-page feature article.  
Create in MS Word,  Arial or Times New Roman  at 12 font

Bio text: Times New Roman 12 font,  25 words Max, relevant to
photography, writing, and  travel.
