tour bus, or by the boat tours on the Seine.

The Paris Museums the Louvre, the Musee d Orsay, The Orangerei, and the Petit Palace (Petit
Palace, free, closed Monday) display paintings and sculpture.
These and other National Museums offer free admission to the permanent exhibits on the first
Sunday of each month
The Musee d Orsay (closed Monday) and the Orangerei (Closed Tuesdays) have extensive
impressionist collections. These museums are within walking distance of one another along the
River Seine and the Champs Elysees.
In the same area along the Seine, you will find Notre Dame, open for visits without entrance fee

city will not be too crowded.
July and August are high season and the time when many Paris shops close for vacation. Accommodations
could be scarce in June July August. some restaurants and shops close the month of August.
Weather is good in September October, great months to visit Paris.
Showers could come in any month but will be of short duration. Snow is rare
