November surf competition at Puerto Escondido Zicatela Beach brings lots of activity, Christmas

Air service is available to Puerto Escondido and Huatulco from Mexico city and from Oaxaca

| Zipolite Beach is South of Acapulco, and Puerto Escondido. Zipolite's mile of sandy paradise lures a few surfers, some European nudists, and a handful of independent travelers. For $15 -$20 a night USD except during holidays you can book a room at Posada San Cristobal right on the beach with a restaurant, bar, hammock, and lifeguard. You need walk no further than 50 feet from your table to the warm Pacific surf. Get there by bus from Puerto Escondido to Pochutla and then collectivo to Zipolite or ask the driver to stop at the crossroads and then get a collectivo or camionetta to Zipolite. |
