ADO Buses serve Southern Mexico from ADO's First
Class station in Oaxaca City.   Autobuses De Oriente,
ADO,  runs luxury service
GL and Platino, ultra luxury
service in southern Mexico to Mexico City from the new
Oaxaca station 12 blocks north of the Zocalo.  
Oaxaca's Zipolite Beach can be reached by Bus to
Pochutla and then taxi or collectivo camionetta (shared taxi)

From Oaxaca City:
Cristobal Colon buses from
the ADO first class terminal
reach  Salina Cruz and then Pochutla. (10 hours)
Second Class bus service leaves Oaxaca City's Second
Class terminal and goes over the mountains to Puerto
Escondido or to Pochutla.  (8 hours)
ADO's Other Lines serve from Oaxaca's new first Class ADO  terminal, 12
blocks north of the City Center

From Oaxaca's ADO terminal buses run south to San Cristobal de Las
Casas, Palenque, Tapachula Chiapas, Merida, and Cancun.

ADO buses from Oaxaca City serve a good portion of southern Mexico to the
Guatemala and Belize borders   They also cover west to Veracruz and into
Tamaulipas State.

buses are never crowded except during the Christmas
and New Years holidays and Easter Vacation.

Tapachula in Chiapas
ADO GL and Platino are luxury buses with limited seating.  Just 24 seats on the Platino (Platinum) bus
with two seat on one side and a single seat on the other.  Café and two lavatories at the back.  

G L Service,
Grand Lujo,  is an elevated level of service to Mexico city's Norte and Tapo Terminals.
Book for Tapo if you will continue on to the airport.
Go outside the Tapo Terminal to the taxi booth.  Pay approx 120 peso for a cab to the airport.  

ADO standard service is available to Mexico
Tapo and Norte as well.  Go to Norte station if you will continue
by bus to the north or will visit the ruin sites of
Teotihuacan or Tula.
